Limiting exposure to natural sunlight is crucial for young teens. The significance of using sunscreen is so important because of the consequences without it. The things people face without sunscreen such as skin cancer, basin cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma are a much bigger issue than simply wearing sunscreen. This can take a huge toll on people’s health whether the cancer is curable or not. It is crucial to take the safety protocols given and important to know the difference between ultraviolet A and ultraviolet B radiation and what each one does. We teenagers do things to our long term health “unintentionally” and have to make a change to be much more self aware.
Skin cancer is the type of cancer that develops in skin cells. This affects how the body functions, the energy the body has, tissues, stress, scars and much more. These effects can cause health issues in the long run. For example it can affect your job, working out, going for a walk, talking. This is all because your body is overworking itself to try and replace the energy the cancer is taking away. The most common issue is that at first people believe the symptoms are just anxiety, moles, or simple changes in the body.
After further research, I have found that using at least 15% of protection when sun bathing is better than wearing nothing. Tanning is a trendy thing in teenagers that commonly get overlooked but it isn’t worth it when it comes to health safety and health protocols. Skin cancer can change your life dramatically and staying out of those strong uv rays can go a long way, indicating that your cells and your body will function correctly and your overall health will increase significantly.
Regular sunlight exposure with proper sunscreen can greatly benefit your body. Using tanning beds will almost always have a bad outcome because it can get into your skin and do much more damage to the skin cells and have long lasting effects that can change your life forever. Almost as soon as someone hears the words cancer their entire life gets flipped around. The change has to start now and it begins with us who can do it and overcome the bad habits.
