Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross is a fascinating book that mixes fantasy and romance, creating a captivating world. This story focuses on the lives of two rival journalists who slowly, unknowingly, fall in love. The main character’s name is Iris and you follow her journey as a correspondent in the war. After her mom passed away and her brother was at war, she was lonely and found her joy in writing. She would write letters to her brother, Forest, on her grandmother’s old typewriter. Little did Iris know that those letters were not reaching Forest, but another person. I loved this read and there was never a point in which I was bored or even wanted to put the book down. I hope you pick up this quick page-turner and love it as much as I did!
