Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid was an immediate favorite of mine from the second I began reading it. The historical fiction novel consists of extremely enjoyable characters along with storylines that keep you wanting to read more.

The novel contains a series of individual interviews with the former members of the fictional 1970s band Daisy Jones and the Six. Through these interviews, the reader is told the story of how the band came to be and eventually what led to their disbandment.
Rating
Throughout this novel, I came across a number of details that led me to rating this book 5/5 stars. To begin, I thoroughly enjoyed the formatting of this book. The interviews made this a super easy read and also made learning everyone’s story so interesting, because the reader was able to see everyone’s perspective on their journey as a member of the band. The characters along with the realistic storytelling of what the behind the scenes of a rock band looked like during that era were some additional highlights of the novel.
Overall this historical fiction novel was a great read and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in reading a good book!
