The Class of 2025 unofficially kicked off their senior year with a splash at the end of August. This year’s senior sunrise, held at Narragansett Town Beach, offered the chance for one more beach day for this year’s rising seniors before school began on August 29. More than 40 seniors braved the early wake up and made it to the town beach before the 6:00 sunrise. Jackson Fields, Treasurer for the Class of 2025, remarked about the turnout, describing it as “surprisingly great and encouraging for future senior events.”
The clear weather allowed for a breathtaking view of the sun as it rose over Narragansett Bay. Toll Gate students took advantage of the warm ocean temperatures and enjoyed time in the water, as well as spikeball, football and other typical beach activities.
