A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series by Holly Jackson is my favorite murder mystery/who-done-it book series. I enjoyed the twists and turns. The series is a real thriller.
Book one is about a girl named Andie Bell, who five years ago, was murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh. Her body was never found. Pippa, a student who lives in the same town, suspects it wasn’t an open and shut case and chooses to make a study of it for her final year project at school. She finds more and more clues and continuing down this path keeps getting dangerous for her and everybody she loves.
In book two, Pippa’s friend Connor’s older brother goes missing and she gets asked to investigate this. Pippa swore to herself and her parents that she would never go down that road again. However, Pippa must help Connor and his family.
In book three, all I can say is that everything gets worse. I will not disclose any information about the third book due to potential spoilers for the first two. But it’s overall a great book! And you should definitely read them all.
