As the new school year begins, the pep rally kicks us off to a fresh start, a brand new and exciting year. The fall pep rally started off with Mr. Martin saying a big thanks to all the teachers for their hard work in preparation for the pep rally. Afterwards, the seniors take over the announcements and the Toll Gate Band plays the National Anthem. Next, the cheerleaders were introduced and the team performed an amazing routine. Later on, the Boys and girls Soccer, Boys and Girls Track Girls Field Hockey, Junior Varsity and Varsity Volleyball, Girls Tennis, Unified Volleyball and Football teams were introduced. This year’s Titan mascot was brought in to rile up the crowds (Jeremy Lyndon) and the class cheers are conducted. The president of this year’s Senior class (Class of 2024) takes over the announcements. Soon afterwards, the yearly “Go home freshman!” chant happened.
The games were the next part of the pep rally. We start off our speedball game between the different grade levels. Round 1 was juniors versus freshmen and resulted in a win from the juniors, with a score of 9 to 1. Round 2 is sophomores versus seniors, resulting in a win for the seniors, with the score of 4 to 3. The final round of the game was juniors and seniors, which resulted in a score of 8-2 with the seniors for the winners! Overall, much excitement and enthusiasm was shown for the new school year.
