Friday Sept 29th marked a big day in Toll Gate Football History. It was the team’s first win since October 9 2021. The team won twenty seven to fifteen against division rival Chariho. This was a team who beat the Titans forty one to zero in 2022. The Toll Gate team has seen massive improvements but still needs a lot of work. After a devastating seven to zero loss to Mt. Hope, then a loss to Narragansett, the team is set up for a hard road ahead, looking towards a four and six Piligrim team on Thanksgiving. The football team understands that they can’t just win the day, they need to win every moment of this contest from the turnover battle to rushing yards. The Titans cannot let up until the final whistle. The Pilgrim Patriots have won 3 straight Beacon Bowls since its inception in 2017. But the Titans are looking for a change, hoping to tie the series 3-3 over the last six contests. Over the last two seasons, the team has had a lot of heartbreak. But this is our chance to show that we can still win the moment.
