2023 Spring Pep Rally

The purpose of a pep rally is to encourage students and challenge their school spirit. This year’s spring pep rally was an encouragement and a challenge all in one. The Pep Rally started off with the Toll Gate band playing our National Anthem. After the Anthem the sports teams and their walkouts started. We witnessed the boys baseball, girls softball, boys and girls lacrosse, soccer, cheerleaders, outdoor track and field, golf, unified basketball and the boys tennis team’s walk. Each team chose a motivational song for walking out and into the gym, as well as a team chant. The closing of the Pep Rally was two rounds of a Faculty Versus Students Volleyball game. With all non-participants cheering the teams on from the sidelines. The game resulted in the student team winning the trophy. Good job to all the players from both teams! It’s clear to see that this past Pep Rally really tested the students as well as the teachers and their Toll Gate pride. It is safe to say that we all passed this test. Thank you to all the teachers, faculty and students who in any way assisted in not only making this pep rally a possibility, but also making it a reality. It was an overall absolute success. I speak for us all when I say that we are all so excited for the next pep rally!
